Street style: the city unfolds

Cuando vamos por la ciudad y estamos ensimismados pensando en el sitio al que tenemos que ir o en la persona con la que hemos quedado no nos fijamos en nada de lo que nos rodea. Somos como los caballos a los que le han puesto esas anteojeras para que no vean lo de alrededor. Por ello creo que tenemos que quitarnos esos pensamientos que nos nublan y disfrutar de lo que vemos a nuestro paso: el reflejo de un escaparate, la luz tan bonita de un momento específico, la fachada de un edificio lleno de flores... 

Con esa intención escribo el post de hoy. Hace una semana salí con unos amigos a echar fotos por Murcia y éstas son las cosas que me gustaron. Una moto que te transporta a Nueva York (sólo si te lo imaginas ;), una paloma que te pasa raspando o el reflejo del teatro Romea en un charco. Y a vosotros, ¿que detalles os sorprenden en vuestra ciudad?

When we go errands around the city we cannot think about anything apart from where we're going or who we're meeting up with. It's then that we don't notice the little things being wonderful around us. We behave like horses that have their blinkers on so they aren't distracted. And that's why I think we should take the blinker thoughts off our minds and enjoy what is surrounding us: the reflection on a storefront, the magic light of a specific moment, the beautiful front of a building which has flowers on the balconies...

So I am writing today's post with that aim. A week ago I went around the city with some friends to take a couple of pictures and these are the things I loved. A motorbike that transports you to New York (only if you imagine it ;), a pigeon with its wings in full effect or the reflection of the theatre on a puddle.
