Snaps from Viena: what you can see in the streets

Parece que hace un año que estuve en Viena, pero realmente sólo fue hace tres meses. Aquí os dejo algunas recomendaciones de cosas que podéis hacer si vais a ir unos días a Viena. Cuando paseas por las calles de la ciudad puedes ver la mayoría de monumentos importantes, calles y avenidas, casi todo gratis (si no entras a los palacios). Como podéis ver en la foto, la catedral es enorme, tanto que no puedes verla de un vistazo. el ambiente que rodea a la ciudad es muy acogedor y vivo, aunque algunas de las calles más comerciales estuvieran llenas de turistas. Si te alejas de esas calles puedes ver a la gente de allí disfrutando de las últimas horas de luz en los jardines, como el de la biblioteca que está al lado de la 'Casa de las Mariposas' (Palmenhaus). Es como un invernadero pequeño hecho de cristal en el que hay un montón de plantas y árboles (no pude ver las mariposas porque estaba cerrado creo). Además, al instante en el que entras en la ciudad ves todos los techos azules que tanto la caracterizan, hay un montón. 

Lo que más me gusto fue el Museums Quartier. En una plaza en la que hay muchos museos y bares en los que la gente se sienta a tomar algo como un helado o algo de cena en los sitios al aire libre, ¡ya os digo que es una Maravilla! También fui al museo Albertina en el que pude ver una exposición de las que más me han gustado hasta ahora. Se llama Darwin Now y recogía una cantidad de obras que giraban en torno al concepto de la línea y el dibujo para exprimirlo al máximo. Podías ver desde esculturas hasta pinturas desde el techo hasta el suelo pasando por instalaciones en las que podías escribir. Espero que os gusten las fotos ya que ¡estas son tristemente las últimas de Austria! xxx

Wow, it seems like it was a year ago that I was in Vienna, but it's only been about three months. I'll introduce you to a couple of things I recommend you do if you're going on a quick trip to the city.You can wander in the streets of Vienna and discover all its beauty and it's almost all free! (if you don't want to enter in all the palaces). In the picture you can notice how huge the cathedral is (you can't see it all at once haha). The ambience is very lively and nice, even though it was full of tourists. If you get a little out of the commercial streets you can see the local people hanging out in the library gardens next to the 'House of the Butterflies' (Palmenhouse), which is a little crystal building full of plants and trees on the inside (I couldn't get to the butterflies part because it was closed I think). Moreover, the moment you step in the city you notice the blue rooftops, they're all over the place! The part I loved the most was the MuseumsQuartier, which is a square full of museums and bars where people like to hang out in summer and have something for dinner or an ice-cream to go. LOVE I say! I also went to the Albertina Museum, where I saw one of the most amazing exhibitions I've ever seen. It's called Drawing Now and it gathered art based on the line concepts, from sculptures to wall art. I really hope you like the pics, these are sadly the last ones from Austria! xxx
